Help! I'm in too many Moodle courses!
by Chris Betcher - Monday, 30 June 2008, 12:02 AM
You may find that you're a member of some Moodle courses that you don't really need to be a member of. It's annoying!

You can now take yourself out of a course that you no longer wish to be part of. This ability was turned on recently.

Here's how you do it... When you're logged in, you should see a box on the left side of the screen titled Administration. It should have the a link at the bottom of it that says "Unenrol me from this course". Just click and confirm to remove yourself.

Easy!

Who uses Moodle? Take a look!
by Chris Betcher - Sunday, 15 June 2008, 04:22 PM
You may have noticed that some Moodle users have their picture included as part of their profile. But did you know that you can view all the user profile pictures by simply adding the word "userpix" to the end of Moodle's URL?

Try it! Just click on this link to see what I mean.

You can add or update your user pic by editing your profile. The quickest way to do that is to click on your name when you're logged in to Moodle (you'll find it up in the top right corner of the screen) Then click on the Edit Profile tab, then scroll down to the Picture Of section, and add your own photo.

Feedback regarding Moodle
by Chris Betcher - Thursday, 29 May 2008, 10:37 PM
Thanks to all those teachers and students who offered their thoughts about Moodle and how we might approach the task of fixing it up. Your feedback has been very valuable and we will certainly try to take your opinions and ideas on board as we look at redesigning it.

If you still have thoughts you'd like to add, it's not too late... the forum is still open and we welcome your extra comments.
